"Sunsets" was in the neighborhood I grew up in - many years later I found it in foreclosure and rode it several times before it was renovated/repurposed - priceless indeed was the look on the faces of the Hispanic family who finally captured a piece of the American Dream and showed up on "move in" day,only to find a couple of gringos getting their own version of the "American Dream" on in their pool:

Shock, suprise, and anger finally turned into confusion - eventually they just asked us to move our car cuz' it was blocking the driveway....we congratulated them on their new homeowner status and disappeared down the road to El Torito for some cocktails....we returned a couple weeks later and were given permission to skate one more time before paranoia kicked in....I still think about this pool - even if I never get to ride it again, it is forever immortalized in this new graphic:

You ever seen a grown man try to kill himself on a skateboard? It's not over when the Fat Lady sings; he will grab that bitch by the throat and try to choke her out.....Tim Garner is one of those guys - he came thru town today and asked to be taken to the "Hilltop Humbler", a pool that is notorious for unsolicited blood donations and making molehills out of mountains. The Fat Lady did in fact sing, but not before Tim tried to cram a roll in down her throat....to all the Brewce Martins', Ross Rogers' (R.I.P.) and Tim G's' of the world who gave/are giving their blood, sweat, and soul to skateboarding (you know who you are); thank you for showing us how it's done - know the Fat Lady, do not fear the Fat Lady; kick the Fat Lady's ass....
