It's official - ADDIKT is heading to Japan for a couple demos at P-Nuts' Blue Bowl:

Rion Linderman was unavailable for comment, since he is preparing to go Down Under for the Bondi Bowl contest scheduled for Feb. 19th. Pretty sure he will be busting out a few of these in Bondi's Blue Bowl:

A Star is Born

Dragonslayer, a documentary featuring Skreech, will debut at the 2011 South by Southwest film festival in Austin TX on 3/13 - Hollywood-types are apparently hyped on it - it made "The Documentary Blog's" "Docs to Look Out For in 2011" list. But will it fly (or should I say roll?) in the skate community? Who knows? Who cares? Given the dismal track record of "skate-ploitation" flicks over the years we are not holding our breath. But the trailer looks promising:

OK so its more like a week late.... an AntiHero splinter cell launched a suprise attack last weekend en route to the Jeff Grosso board release party @ Joker's in HB - Hewitt doubles up over the Beech Bowl deathbox and then caps it off with a nite sesh @ Palmdale Pool Project

Palmdale Pool Project/THRASHER January 2011

The cat (aka Grant Taylor) is out of the bag.....THRASHER's Jan. 2011 issue features Grant getting gnar over the stairs/deathbox at the Palmdale Pool Project - it's nice to start (see Malba/Palmdale ramp cover foto from April '83 issue), but it's even better to finish - props to the vert dogs who have kept it going in the AV for the last thirty years (Gregg, Steve, Kenny, Rudy) and congrats to THRASHER on the big three-oh - see you at the 50th anniversary in 2031.....
