Palmdale Pool Project/THRASHER January 2011

The cat (aka Grant Taylor) is out of the bag.....THRASHER's Jan. 2011 issue features Grant getting gnar over the stairs/deathbox at the Palmdale Pool Project - it's nice to start (see Malba/Palmdale ramp cover foto from April '83 issue), but it's even better to finish - props to the vert dogs who have kept it going in the AV for the last thirty years (Gregg, Steve, Kenny, Rudy) and congrats to THRASHER on the big three-oh - see you at the 50th anniversary in 2031..... John showed up @ PPP 2nite - ex-street guy gone AWOL - claiming tranny status these days - hasn't skated vert in a while - wants a FS rock on the hip - I've seen some of the best pay in pain trying to get something in that spot - its like the Bermuda Triangle or something....I tell him if he wants it bad enough and can suffer through a 6-pack of hippers he might have a shot at it - don't let me spoil it for you - let's roll tape, shall we?
